Practice Report: Two Nets out with illness, Brook Lopez questionable for Monday’s game

Some notes to pass along from Nets practice Sunday afternoon:

Both Mirza Teletovic and Joe Johnson sat out of practice with an illness. Neither are expected to miss Monday night’s game, but it’s something to keep an eye on.

Brook Lopez sat out of practice as he continues to nurse that left ankle sprain, and the Nets say he is questionable for Monday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The other two Nets who sat out of practice Sunday were Jason Terry, with his left knee injury, and Andrei Kirilenko, who is still recovering from back spasms.

However, in some encouraging news, Nets GM Billy King tweeted a photo of Kirilenko rehabbing on the court this morning, which is a very positive sign for the Nets.

There’s still no timetable for his return, but it’s nice to see AK making progress.
