The Nets are gearing up to battle the Houston Rockets at Barclays Center tonight. The media troops are over at the PNY Center and Joe Johnson was conspicuously absent. Billy King let it be known, afterward, that he would be out for tonight’s game. There was at least one report stating that Johnson has plantar fasciitis, but King only called the injury a “sore heel.”
Plantar fasciitis can be a persistent and nagging injury, so until the official diagnosis is distributed, Nets fans should hope the injury is not too serious.
Afterward shoot around, Johnson was not seen and did not speak with the media. King says that the injury isn’t considered serious at the moment, we will update as more information becomes available.
