Brooklyn Is Ready… And Now, SNY Is, Too

Moke Hamilton, NBA Analyst

BROOKLYN — It’s been a long time coming, but we’ve finally reached the eleventh hour. Since Bruce Ratner spearheaded the group that purchased the New Jersey Nets back in 2005, the long-term plan has been Brooklyn.

Now, finally, Brooklyn—and the Barclays Center—is ready. Along the way, funds dried up, the move was delayed, and the team was sold to Mikhail Prokhorov. But now, the wait is finally over. Brooklyn is ready.

And today, SNY.tv is, too.

It is with great pleasure that I announce the launching of SNYNets.com and my undertaking of the responsibility to serve as its Executive Editor. We will bring you—the fans of this team—the same great coverage that has given the SNY.tv Blog Network its great reputation.

We’ll be breaking news, conducting interviews, writing original columns, and giving insight and objective analyses about Brooklyn’s newest pro sports franchise.

And we’re going to get started right now.

I began with SNY as a contributor to SNY.tv during the 2011 NBA Lockout, where I served as the resident NBA Salary Cap Analyst for Tommy Dee and TheKnicksBlog.com.

Now today, a new journey begins. For both me and SNY.tv, but most importantly, the Brooklyn Nets. That’s what this site is about.

Stay tuned… The journey is just beginning.
