Silver: ‘Precedent is pretty clear’ on Kidd DUI suspension

Future NBA Comissioner Adam Silver would not comment specifically on the suspension for forthcoming for Nets head coach Jason Kidd.

Silver said that the “precedent is pretty clear for convictions for driving under the influence,” according to SNY’s Adam Zagoria.

For a DUI, the league precedent is a two-game suspension, Zagoria noted.

The Nets will play at Cleveland and home against Miami in their first two games of the season.
