The first half of the first Brooklyn Blue Night at the Barclays Center ended up being a surprising scoring battle between Avery Bradley and Mason Plumlee. Bradley shot 10-of-13 for 23 points in 18 first-half minutes, while Plumlee made all five of his first-half shots to enter the break with a team-high 14 points.

Joe Johnson took over in the third, with 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting in the quarter to help the Nets extend their lead and put the game away. The bench took care of business the rest of the way, and Brooklyn won their 11th straight home game.

With the Bulls and Raptors losing, the Nets now find themselves a game back of the fourth seed and 1.5 games out of the Atlantic division lead with 15 games left to play.

The Nets will be back in action on Sunday, when they head back on the road to take on the Dallas Mavericks. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
