Something occurred today that may have never happened before and it shows how times are changing for the Nets. The New Jersey Nets never had more than three players on the NBA All-Star ballot at one time in all of their 35 years in Jersey.
It’s pretty easy to figure out which players are on the ballot, but there’s some more pertinent information after the jump.
“All five of the Nets’ starters are on the 2013 NBA All-Star ballot.
Deron Williams and Joe Johnson can be voted in as East guards, while Brook Lopez, Kris Humphries and Gerald Wallace can be voted in as East frontcourt players.”
Voting began at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday and will end Jan. 14.
The starters will be announced Jan. 17 on TNT. The game takes place in Houston on Feb. 17.
