NBA All-Star Reserves Selected Without Any Brooklyn Nets
The NBA All-Star Reserves were announced tonight by TNT and there were some surprises as well as some notable snubs. The Brooklyn Nets have the third best record in the eastern conference and not a single All-Star selection this season.
The Eastern Conference Reserves that were selected were Joakim Noah, Chris Bosh, Paul George, Tyson Chandler, Kyrie Irving, Luol Deng and Jrue Holiday
The Western Conference Reserves will be Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Tim Duncan, David Lee, Zach Randolph, Tony Parker and LeMarcus Aldridge.
Eastern Conference All-Star Starters
Dwayne Wade, Rajon Rondo, Carmelo Anthony, Lebron James and Kevin Garnett
Western Conference All-Star Starters
Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant, Dwight Howard
Brook Lopez was thought to have a better than good chance of being selected to his first All-Star game but the results showed a Brooklyn snub. Lopez numbers of 18.6 points, seven rebounds and two blocks a game and being in the Top 5 in PER all season did not prove to be enough.
